How To Call From Your Smartwatch?
Nowadays, smartwatches are becoming more and more common. Watches have evolved from just telling time to mobile devices that can do a lot of other things like calling and texting. Although these capabilities are cool, many people are wondering how to call from their smartwatch.
To call from your smartwatch, you must have the Wear OS by Google app installed on your phone.
1. Open the Wear OS by Google app on your phone and tap the Phone icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
2. In the Contacts list, tap the contact you want to call.
3. On your watch, open the Phone app by swiping right from the Home screen or tapping on an incoming call notification.
4. Tap Dial.
If you have an Apple Watch, open up the Messages app and scroll down to find the Contacts section. Tap on that, then scroll down again until you see your list of contacts. Tap on one of them, then tap on their phone number — or just tap on their name if they don't have a phone number listed.
If you own an Android smartwatch, you don't have to be tied to your phone. You can actually make calls, send text messages and even use some third-party apps that work with your wrist device. The good new is that you don't need extra hardware to text or call via your smartwatch—it all comes with most devices.
